Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Yes I'm aware it is like six in the morning. I can't sleep for some reason. Christmas was pretty good this year I got a few things I needed ,and almost everything I wanted. Spent Christmas Eve with the Farrell's. Crazy bunch of Irish.

I also found these amazing websites DESIGNBYHUMANS, THREADLESS. I would love to submit something to be made into a t-shirt. I don't really know if my style suits itself to that medium however. Either way its a great site to support amateur or part time artists. I'm not really sure about some of the site, but its a foot in the door for some people. plus the art is great, if not a little too popart.

Bubbles!

So completely bored last night I come across this gem. Definatley did not know I could make a living playing with soap and water. I wish i knew this when I was a child, I have a feeling I would be a completely different person. So Enjoy Tom Noddy and his amazing Bubbles!!

Crooked!

So I'm finally starting the biggest set of paintings I've ever done. So Far Not So Good. The first canvas I made (60" by 42") is crooked and it's one in a set of three. Now I have to go back and adjust it and add some braces to level it square. Easy fix though, after that I have two more (60" by 42") to complete the work. I haven't even decided what I'm going to paint a theme or anything else. Not even the colors so I haven't even bought paint yet. This is my biggest undertaking to date so I'm fairly nervous I'm going to screw it up. I'll be updating my progress as I make it.

Ikebukuro!

Ikebukuro! Ikebukuro was the closest major hub in Tokyo to our apartment. I spent alot of time in Ikebukuro. It was a pretty great place to hang out. Lots of arcades, a zoo, an aquarium, Great Turkish food, and a large sixty storie skyscraper full of wierd shopping places. Every Day Ikebukuro had something new to offer, good food good drinks, a pretty great place.

Japan!

So 2 Days after I graduated I went on a trip to Japan. After two years of studying the language and a general fascination with the country for most of my life I finally got over my fear of flying and traveled to the far east. Being in Japan definately effected my life so I decided to illustrate some of my favorite pictures from the Trip.
